The view from the Astronomy Tower was, to say the least, impressive. So much so that Sarah had hoped it would be enough inspiration to start drawing again, even just a little bit. It was true that talents rarely used are talents lost, as was true with her mother and Sarah didn't want that to happen with her. Her time had been spent on homework, going out with friends and a whole lot of lark she couldn't really keep track of. Time flew to her, it seemed.
A soft frown found itself onto her features, darkly made up eyes narrowing as she inspected her drawing, leaning against the railing with the lake spanning out in front of her.The drawing was okay, she'd say, although it was hardly up to scratch with her work a month back. She teared the sketch out of her book, crumpled it up and stuck it in the pocket of her soft leather jacket. "Bloody hell," she mumbled softly to herself. All motivation to draw lost in her failure, she stuck her sketch book in her bag and puffed as she turned her attention back to the view. The completely undrawable bloody view, it seemed. She rolled her eyes at herself, telling herself to lighten up; some people couldn't draw, at least she could draw a wee bit. And then she felt bad for comparing other people to herself. This whole Astronomy Tower thing did not seem to be working for her. She puffed, sending a blonde strand of hair flying.
Sarah stood in silence, just savoring the surroundings and trying not to think too much, when a sound from behind her almost sent her over the railing as she jumped in surprise, letting out a tiny gasp. "Woah, heart attack," she said, huffing out a laugh before turning to see who it was.
